Treatment Focus
At Yin Wellness Brisbane, our primary focus is on supporting fertility and pregnancy, while also offering care for a wide range of related health issues. Chinese medicine views the body as an interconnected system, where seemingly separate conditions, such as fertility issues, hormonal imbalances, and emotional wellbeing, are often linked by underlying patterns of imbalance. By addressing the root cause of these imbalances, we can treat a range of related concerns as part of the same treatment focus, supporting your overall health and wellbeing in a holistic and comprehensive way.
You can read more about each of our services we focus on enhancing natural fertility and supporting those undergoing IVF, creating the best possible conditions for conception and a healthy pregnancy.
Our pregnancy care extends from managing symptoms to preparing for labour and postpartum recovery.
Beyond reproductive health (as often part of preconception care), we treat menstrual issues such as painful periods, irregular cycles, and hormonal imbalances. Our services also support women through perimenopause, offering relief from symptoms and promoting a balanced transition into this new stage of life.
All of our practitioners place great importance on emotional wellbeing, recognising its connection to physical health.
Our acupuncture treatments are designed to foster mental and emotional resilience, complementing our fertility and pregnancy care. Male fertility is another area of focus, with tailored treatments aimed at improving reproductive health and increasing the chances of conception. In addition to these areas, we provide specialised pain management solutions.
We address pelvic pain, often seen in endometriosis, using acupuncture to reduce inflammation and chronic discomfort. We also treat period pain (dysmenorrhea) by improving blood flow and balancing hormones.
During pregnancy, we help manage musculoskeletal pain, such as back and hip discomfort, ensuring a safer and more comfortable experience. We also treat conditions like headaches and migraines, often linked to hormonal fluctuations, promoting a better quality of life. If you are new to acupuncture and Chinese medicine and are looking for more information on how acupuncture works and the research behind it, please visit our Acupuncture Basics blog.
While Chinese medicine and acupuncture are at the core of our practice, we also offer support from a variety of other modalities to enhance care throughout the various stages of life. Please see our practitioners page for more details covering psychology, counselling, massage (including pregnancy massage), reiki, sound therapy and naturopathy.
